This Tuesday, June 28, 4-9 PM, 20% of all dinner sales at Cortlandt Colonial Restaurant will be donated to St. Peter’s. Call 914-739-3900 for reservations. Bring the flyer in your bulletin and give to server.

Old St. Peter’s Church on Locust Avenue will be open to the public from 2pm-4pm on Sunday, July 3rd.  At 3 pm, a memorial service led by the president of the VanCortlandtville Historical Society will be held at the seven white crosses in the cemetery, commemorating the seven French soldiers who fought and died for us during the American Revolution.

The summer months and church finances--Summer has arrived and along with it relaxed summer schedules, vacations and summer traveling.  At St. Peter's some activities like Sunday school and the Third Thursday Dinner will take a summer break.  Others like Fred's Pantry, Sunday worship and preparations for the fall continue on all summer.  Our operational expenses including payroll, electricity, insurance, etc. will also continue throughout the summer.   

How can you help? Maintain your pledging during the summer months,  collect small change all summer to offer on Celebrate Sunday in September, and if you have not already done so, make a gift to the church as part of the special campaign. (Total received to date is only $5,396. Budget deficit is over $ 36,000). We often acknowledge the generous ways God blesses this parish. With some planning, each of us can make sure that we are equally generous with God's work in this place during the summer and that St. Peter's is in fine financial shape.

Our fundraising committee has announced that over $600 was raised from the Brunch at the Division St. Grille.  Many thanks to all who participated in making this such a success.
 
ANNUAL BENEFIT DINNER DANCE CRUISE   Join us in New Rochelle and board the Klondike IX on Saturday evening, July 30 from 7:00 to 11:30 PM as we cruise to the Statue of Liberty and see the brightly lit NY Skyline while dining and dancing. Tickets are still only $65 per person and include a Caribbean style buffet, soft drinks and wine, and a chance to win a 5 day/4 night DREAM VACATION for two (2) at the beautiful Anguilla Great House Beach Resort in the North Eastern Caribbean worth $ 1,200. The Cruise benefits the mission of Caribbean Ministries.

Help lower the costs of office supplies -Wondering what to do with your empty computer printer ink or toner cartridges?  St. Peter’s has been collecting and turning them in for a small reward.  Please continue to drop them off in the narthex or the church office. We received $286 in rewards so far this year due to your efforts.
