ALTAR GUILD

The Altar Guild performs the duties to care for the Altars, Baptistery and Sacristy, including the sacred vessels, linens, vestments and polishing of all brass and silver articles. Members clear and clean after every Sunday Service and prepare the church for the high holy days and celebration of Easter, Christmas, etc.

The Altar Guild provides candles, lamp oil, flowers, altar bread and wine sacraments, incense and ashes; which are provided through contributions of flower and candle memorials and gifts. Flowers adorn the altars every week except the Advent and Lenten penitential seasons. There are always fresh prayer vigil candles available throughout the year.

FLOWERS FOR THE FONT OR BENEATH THE ALTAR: $40
THE HIGH ALTAR VIGIL CANDLE: $18 PER MONTH
ST. MARY’S VIGIL LIGHT: $8 PER MONTH.
