NOON TIME MEALS

NOON TIME MEALS

Feeding the Community of Peekskill

St. Peter's is a part of a noon-time meals program which provides a hot lunch daily for those who desire it. Meals are served at the Salvation Army building located in Peekskill, NY. The average number of meals served monthly in the summer is more that 1600. During the winter months, it is more than 3500.

St. Peter's prepares the meals for this program every third Wednesday and every fifth Friday of the month. We prepare the food at the church on Tuesday and Thursday evenings prior to the serving, and then deliver the meals the next day. Meals are prepared by volunteers, coordinated by Barbara Reid. All are welcome, and we are always looking for new helpers.
